National Highways have provided more information about forthcoming roadworks on the A49 between Hereford and Leominster.
Resurfacing work will take place from 13th-17th February, with a full overnight closure in place between the Starting Gate in Hereford and the A49 Ludlow Road / A44 Mill Street junction in Leominster.
The closure will be in place between the hours of 9pm and 6am.
National Highways says that the work will make the road safer, with an improved surface and new road markings.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route during the works.
Access will be made available for the emergency services and local residents.
