Motorists are being warned to expect significant delays in Hereford, with roadworks in place on a busy stretch of road for up to 40 weeks.
The roadworks will be in place from the 31st July, on the A4103 (Roman Road) near Hereford Livestock Market, and on the A480 (Credenhill).
Local residents have received letters warning them of likely disruption with temporary traffic lights in place.
National Grid will be carrying out work along the stretch of road.
Significant delays are likely on surrounding routes, such as Kings Acre Road and Three Elms Road.
The work will be carried out in sections and could take up to 40 weeks to be completed. Pedestrians and cyclists are also being warned to expect disruption and to plan ahead.
