Motorists are facing a long diversion next, with a daytime closure in place on a busy route in Herefordshire.
Balfour Beatty have confirmed that the A417 will be closed between Hampton Court and the A49 (Hope-under-Dinmore) from Tuesday 31st August and (including) Friday 3rd September. The closure will be in place from 9am to 5pm daily, with no weekend working.
The closure is in place for resurfacing work to take place. Motorists that normally use this route are advised to use the A44 between Leominster and Bromyard, before switching to the A465 between Bromyard and Burley Gate.
