Motorists are being warned to prepare for delays, with roadworks and carriageway closures on the A49 (Edgar Street) in Hereford.
National Highways will be carrying out the work on Edgar Street, between the junction for Newtown Road, and the Steels roundabout.
The work will take place overnight Thursday (11th January into Friday 12th January) from 9pm to 6am.
There will also be a separate closure overnight Thursday (18th January into Friday 19th January) from 9pm to 6am. This lane closure is for drainage works.
It’s hoped that the work will be completed overnight so that disruption is kept to a minimum.
Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area and to use an alternative route if possible.
