Motorists are being advised to use an alternative route to access and exit Leominster this afternoon due to an ongoing problem with the level crossing barriers on Mill Street.
Engineers are at the scene and it’s hoped that the road will reopen shortly.
West Mercia Police officers have provided an update:
“Mill Street railway barriers have failed and traffic is currently at a standstill.
“Railway engineers are on scene trying to fix the problem, but avoid the area for the time being if you can.”
