Motorists are advised to plan ahead, with a major route closed this morning following a serious collision involving a lorry.
The M5 in Worcestershire remains closed northbound between J6 (Worcester) and J5 (Droitwich) this morning due to a collision involving an overturned lorry.
Emergency services including West Mercia Police are in attendance.
National Highways Traffic Officers are also in attendance providing assistance with traffic management.
Diverted traffic should follow the solid circle diversion symbol:
Exit the M5 northbound at J6 and take the third exit at the roundabout onto the A4538 northbound
Continue on the A4538 to the traffic light controlled junction with the A38
Turn right onto the A38 northbound and then continue onward to re-join the M5 at J5
