McDonald’s have announced plans to open up to 150 new outlets and hire up to 20,000 new staff across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Boss Paul Pomroy told The Telegraph that the company plans to invest in new outlets on the High Street but admitted that recruitment is proving difficult at present.
McDonald’s currently operates two restaurants in Herefordshire, both located in Hereford, but the company has attempted to open a drive-thru restaurant in Leominster previously but the planning allocation was rejected by councillors.
