From Gloucestershire Police:

We’re appealing for footage and witnesses in relation to a serious incident in Cheltenham earlier this afternoon (Thursday).

At around 3.50pm police received a number of calls about an incident taking place in the area of Gloucester Road which involved a group of men.

They had been seen in possession of machetes which led to a large police response.

One person, a man aged in his 20s, suffered wounds and was taken to hospital by paramedics. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident and are in police custody.

Investigating officers are now keen to hear from anyone who may have filmed what took place or witnessed it and has not yet spoken to police.

They are also wanting to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage, doorbell camera video or CCTV which may assist the investigation.
