West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was critically injured on the A438 (Ledbury Road) in Hereford late yesterday evening.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“We were called at 11:32pm on Wednesdayto reports a cyclist had suffered a medical emergency before being involved in an RTC between a cyclist and lorry on Ledbury Road. We sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene. On arrival, crews found the cyclist, a man, in a critical condition. Staff worked quickly to treat the man at the scene and continued treatment on route at hospital where the MERIT trauma doctors and critical care paramedic met them to assist with treatment.”

“Officers are appealing for information after a collision in Hereford that left a cyclist with serious injuries.
“Around 11.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 17 November) officers received a report of a collision between a blue lorry and a cyclist on Ledbury Road near the junction with Foley Street.
“It was reported that the cyclist fell off his bike and collided with the lorry. He was taken to Hereford County Hospital.
“Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident or saw the cyclist or lorry in the area or captured them on dash cam.
