A man has been arrested after a woman reported that she had been assaulted in Hereford yesterday evening.
West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Service were called to Pomona Place in the Whitecross area of Hereford at just after 7pm yesterday evening.
Local residents reported a significant amount of activity in the area and that it appeared to be as a result of a disturbance at flats in the area. Access to the nearby Sainsbury’s store was blocked.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:
“Officers attended Pomona Place in relation to a report that a woman had been assaulted. She suffered minor injuries and a man has been arrested. The fire service attended as the fire alarm was activated.”
