A man has been arrested after failing a roadside breath test following a collision in Hereford.
The collision occurred on the A438 (Whitecross Road) in Hereford, at shortly after 11pm on Friday evening.
West Mercia Police officers attended the incident and significant damage was caused to a set of traffic lights.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:
“At around 11.05pm Friday 10 February police responded to a one car collision on Eign Street in Hereford.
“The car involved collided with a traffic light.
“A man was arrested having failed a road side breath test and was taken to hospital by officers with minor injuries. The road was re-opened at 00.30am.”
