A man was due to appear in court on Saturday after being charged with rape following an incident in Hereford last week.
West Mercia Police confirmed that Raza Mohammed Qadia was to appear in court yesterday (Saturday 17th April) after being arrested in Hereford.
A large police presence was reported in the Eign Gate area of Hereford on Wednesday (13th April).
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“A man has been charged after an incident in Hereford.
“Raza Mohammed Qadia, 27, of no fixed address, has been charged with rape.
“He is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 16 April.
“The charge relates to an incident in Hereford on 13 April.”
