There is major disruption affecting rail services in Herefordshire this morning, with a member of staff taken ill.
An update from National Rail says:
A member of signalling staff has taken ill, therefore the signalbox which operates trains between Newport and Hereford / Shrewsbury is currently closed. Transport for Wales are unable to run trains between Newport and Hereford / Shrewsbury until at least 08:30.
How does this affect my journey?
Cardiff Central – Holyhead services will run between Shrewsbury and Holyhead only.
Carmarthen / Cardiff Central – Manchester Piccadilly services will not run between Cardiff Central and Shrewsbury.
Replacement buses have been requested to run between Newport and Shrewsbury, but these have yet to be confirmed.
