It appears the Little Moons phenomena has well and truly arrived in Hereford – judging by the look of supermarket freezers in the city.
The tiny ice cream sandwiches have been around for years but thanks to a TikTok craze, sales of the sweet Japanese treat have rocketed around the country.
One supermarket worker in Hereford said that last year they were selling one box a month but now they are sold as quickly as they are stocked. With each passing week it has become harder to find the confectionery on sale in Hereford so no doubt some of the 60 million people to have viewed the hashtag #littlemoon on TikTok have been from our city.
