Left Bank Village had responded to customers opinions on a post shared by the venue on Friday that suggested the possibility for a separate area for guests that had already received a COVID-19 vaccine.
The original post stated:
WE WANT YOUR OPINION ON COVID PASSPORTS AT THE LEFT BANK VILLAGE. The Left Bank is a very large venue, and we are considering reserving a small section for guests who have had the vaccination. We would value our customer’s opinion on this policy before implementation. Guests who have had the vaccination would have access to all areas, but one inside and one outside area would be reserved for vaccinated guests only. We would continue this policy beyond 21st June in the hope that the “safer” zone would be an attraction for not only the more vulnerable, but also those of us who are just a bit more reluctant to venture out. “Proof of Jab” would not be needed, we would take our customers word for it. Our staff are young, and it will be a while before they all have the jab. Vaccinated staff would be used in the “safer” zone as soon as practicable. All our staff will be tested every day on arrival at work. Please let us know your views.

Thank you very much for everyone’s feedback on our opinion poll for having a small designated area for vaccinated individuals. It certainly created a lively debate and we are receptive to the points of view that were expressed. The result of the post was 73 likes, 51 angry, 41 ha-ha, 7 wow, 5 love and 2 sad.
We appreciate all perspectives and our priority will continue to be to try to create as safe an environment as is possible where our patrons can enjoy themselves.
Our decision, based on your response is that the science and public opinion isn’t strong enough for vaccine passports in venues at this time.
Upon re-opening, COVID government guidance and legislation will be adhered to and we wish to emphasize the importance of following these rules, to protect staff and guests alike.
RE-OPENING IS SCHEDULED FOR THE 12TH APRIL AND WE CANNOT WAIT TO HAVE EVERYONE BACK!
