There is still plenty of disruption this morning, with river levels on the River Wye in Hereford now peaking but likely to remain high for several days.

Routes such as the A438 at Letton are still affected by floodwater, although levels are receding. 

Watery Lane and Lower Bullingham Lane in Hereford remain closed due to flooding and are likely to remain closed for at least the rest of today (Friday).

Levels on the Wye in Hereford peaked in the early hours of Friday at 4.6 metres at Old Bridge.

Further rain is expected on Saturday, as well as on New Year’s Day (Monday), so levels on the Wye and other rivers in the county are likely to rise once again. 

Two Flood Warnings remain in force on the River Wye in Hereford (North Hereford and South Hereford).

Flood Alerts remain in force on the River Wye in Herefordshire, the River Lugg south of Leominster, the River Lugg north of Leominster, the River Arrow, River Teme, River Frome and the River Leadon catchment.

Routes that may be affected by flooding today include the A44 near Knightwick and the A4103 near Bransford.
