Latest figures released by NHS England indicate that Wye Valley NHS Trust hospitals in Herefordshire are not currently treating any patients for COVID-19.
NHS figures show that the last time that Wye Valley NHS Trust was treating patients for COVID-19 in Herefordshire was on 13th May. Since that date, no further patients have been admitted into hospital with COVID-19 (As of 1st June) in Herefordshire.
In terms of patients requiring mechanical ventilation, latest figures released by NHS England indicated that no patients at hospitals in Herefordshire were requiring treatment involving mechanical ventilation for COVID-19. Data also shows that no patients have required mechanical ventilation for COVID-19 at hospitals in Herefordshire since early in April.
In England, 801 patients are currently being treated at hospital for COVID-19, with 116 patients requiring mechanical ventilation. In the Midlands, 138 patients are currently being treated for COVID-19 at hospital, with 15 of them requiring mechanical ventilation.
