This Wednesday will see the first late night shopping evening in Hereford, with free parking available in all Herefordshire Council and Old Market car parks from 4pm.
Several shops are expected to remain open beyond 6pm including TK Maxx, Primark, Cardzone and many others.
Many shops in Hereford are expected to extend their opening hours between now and Christmas, in an attempt to increase revenue after a tough year that has seen non-essential retailers closed twice as part of national lockdowns in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. One of the reasons to open shops for longer hours is to make it easier to manage the number of customers in shops, to lower the risk of COVID-19 spreading.
