Kington Show will go ahead as normal this weekend but organisers say that it will include a two minutes silence in memory of Her Majesty The Queen.

A spokesperson for Kington Show said:

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and extend our condolences to The Royal Family.

“Her dedication and passion for conservation and the countryside has been inspirational.  She has supported many country shows over the years of her reign and therefore Kington Show will go ahead this weekend.

“Flags will be flying at half mast and there will be two minutes silence before the Grand Parade at 2.30pm.

“Rest in Peace Your Majesty.

“God Save the King.”
