Carol Challis wife of the late John Challis who played Boycie in the legendary British comedy Only Fools and Horses tweeted this week that she has sold the property which was used in the BBC television series The Green Green Grass.
Wigmore Abbey in Herefordshire was put on the market last year with a guide price of £1.5 million.
The Challis family purchased the property in 1998 and took on a massive renovation project to restore it to its former glory.
John Challis sadly passed away in 2021 and also appeared on the tv shows Benidorm and Last of the Summer Wine.
John’s wife Carol has tweeted that she has now moved to Somerset.
