It’s been a busy Christmas Day for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service in Hereford.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (Hereford Fire Station) said:
“We hope everyone has had a great Christmas Day so far! Our crews were mobilised a few times today..
“07:10 461 mobilised to a gain entry incident, crews assisted the ambulance service to gain entry into a property.
“14:08 462 mobilised to an AFA at a residential care home in the Aylestone Hill area. Confirmed false alarm due to dust in the smoke detector head. Advice given and left with staff.
“16:18 462 mobilised to another gain entry incident to assist the ambulance service. Crews used method of entry equipment to access the property and left the resident in the care of the ambulance crew.
“17:23 461 mobilised to an AFA actuating at sheltered housing in the Tupsley area. Small fire out on arrival involving a pudding. Smoke cleared from flat and advice given to the occupier.
“Crews now returned home station, wishing you a safe evening, Merry Christmas!”
