Household waste and recycling sites are likely to become busy as we enter the spring and the weather improves.

Sites will switch to longer opening hours from 1st April — with some key information below.

Household recycling centres may only be used by Herefordshire residents to dispose of their own household waste.

Only household waste is accepted at sites – no traders or business waste.

Bookings are limited to four per fortnight per household/vehicle.

Soil improver/compost is available to purchase by card only. Cash is not accepted at any of the recycling centres.

Check if you need a commercial vehicle or trailer permit
