Hundreds of students in years 7,8 and 9 at John Kyrle High School in Ross-on-Wye are self-isolating after cases of COVID-19 were confirmed.
The school confirmed the news in a letter to parents this morning (15th July).
The school says that it is working with the local ‘Outbreak Control’ group and they say that the situation is mirrored at many schools across the county.
Headteacher Nigel Griffiths went on to wish all students and parents a great summer and said that September would be the beginning of the schools most exciting chapter.
