Teams are hoping to have power restored to the affected properties later this evening.

An amber wind warning is in force across Herefordshire until 6am on Monday, with the strongest winds expected to affect the county between 8pm-3am.

Heavy rain is likely to accompany the strong winds at times.

Motorists are advised to only travel if absolutely necessary. It’s hoped that the worst of the conditions will have moved away to the east by Monday mornings rush hour.

Herefordshire Council’s Highways Team are on stand-by to respond to any incidents on the road network tonight.

We’ll have updates throughout the night on Your Herefordshire’s social media platforms, to help keep the county informed and moving.
