The heroics of Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bromyard and Ross-on-Wye saved a horse in deep water earlier today.
A spokesperson for Bromyard Fire Station said:
“WFR (water first responder) crew from Ross on Wye and Large Animal Rescue crew from Bromyard were call to Llangarron his afternoon to rescue a horse that had become trapped in some fairly deep water with steep banks on either side, crews cut away over hanging branches before the horse could be turned around and lead to a place of safety where it was able to get itself up the bank and out of the water.”
