Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate remains relatively low, despite one area of the county having one of the highest infection rates in the West Midlands.
Infection rates in Lugwardine, Withington & Moreton on Lugg have risen sharply by over 400%, with 16 new cases recorded in the seven days ending 24th April, meaning that the area now has an infection rate of over 200 cases per 100,000 population.
The areas that recorded the most cases in the seven day period ending 21st April were:
