Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate continues to steadily fall, with data up until 4th December now showing an infection rate of 56.5 cases per 100,000 population in the county, this is down on the 59.1 cases per 100,000 population recorded the previous day.

The truth is, the figure would be much lower if one area of Leominster didn’t have such a high infection rate. Leominster South currently has an infection rate of 270 cases per 100,000 population, far above anywhere else in Herefordshire.
