Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate continues to fall and this is how it compares to surrounding counties.

COVID-19 INFECTION RATES IN HEREFORDSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (DATA UP UNTIL 30TH JANUARY):

Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate is currently 146.8 cases per 100,000 population. This is a decrease on last week when the COVID-19 infection rate in the county was at 227.7 cases per 100,000 population.

Worcestershire’s COVID-19 infection rate is showing signs of falling. Data shows an infection rate of 281.5 cases per 100,000 population. This is a decrease on last week when the COVID-19 infection rate in Worcestershire was at 395.9 cases per 100,000 population.

Shropshire’s COVID-19 infection rate has fallen. Data shows an infection rate of 210.4 cases per 100,000 population. This is a decrease on the 303 cases per 100,000 population recorded just a week ago.

Gloucestershire’s COVID-19 infection rate is falling. Data shows an infection rate of 139.5 cases per 100,000 population. This is a decrease on the 196.5 cases per 100,000 population that was recorded a week ago.

Monmouthshire’s COVID-19 infection rate is falling. Data shows an infection rate of 74 cases per 100,000 population. This is down on a week ago when the COVID-19 infection rate was at 131.1 cases per 100,000 population. Monmouthshire and a number of areas of South Wales are now seeing significant falls in infection rates.

Powys COVID-19 infection rate is falling. Data shows an infection rate of 92.9 cases per 100,000 population. This is a decrease on the 157.1 cases per 100,000 population that was recorded a week ago.
