Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate has slightly risen, with many parts of the county recording less than three cases in the seven days ending 21st March.

COVID-19 INFECTION RATES IN HEREFORDSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (DATA UP UNTIL 21ST MARCH):

Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate is currently 37.3 cases per 100,000 population. This is a slight rise on last week when the COVID-19 infection rate in the county was at 33.2 cases per 100,000 population.

Worcestershire’s COVID-19 infection rate has fallen. Data shows an infection rate of 65.1 cases per 100,000 population. This is a slight decrease on last week when the COVID-19 infection rate in Worcestershire was at 73.5 cases per 100,000 population.

Shropshire’s COVID-19 infection rate has fallen. Data shows an infection rate of 30 cases per 100,000 population. This is a decrease on the 36.5 cases per 100,000 population recorded just a week ago.

Gloucestershire’s COVID-19 infection rate has one of the lowest COVID-19 infection rates in England. Data shows an infection rate of 19.2 cases per 100,000 population. This is a decrease on the 21 cases per 100,000 population that was recorded a week ago.

Monmouthshire’s COVID-19 infection rate has fallen. Data shows an infection rate of 12.7 cases per 100,000 population. This is down on a week ago when the COVID-19 infection rate was at 16.9 cases per 100,000 population.

Powys COVID-19 infection rate is falling. Data shows an infection rate of 19.6 cases per 100,000 population. This is down on the 27.2 cases per 100,000 population that was recorded a week ago.
