Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate is rising, which is in comparison the majority of the United Kingdom, where cases continue to fall.

COVID-19 INFECTION RATES IN HEREFORDSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (DATA UP UNTIL 16TH FEBRUARY):

Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate is currently 100.6 cases per 100,000 population. This is an increase on last week when the COVID-19 infection rate in the county was at 74.2 cases per 100,000 population.

Worcestershire’s COVID-19 infection rate is falling. Data shows an infection rate of 141.2 cases per 100,000 population. This is a decrease on last week when the COVID-19 infection rate in Worcestershire was at 168.5 cases per 100,000 population.

Shropshire’s COVID-19 infection rate has fallen. Data shows an infection rate of 140.8 cases per 100,000 population. This is a decrease on the 170.5 cases per 100,000 population recorded just a week ago.

Gloucestershire’s COVID-19 infection rate is falling. Data shows an infection rate of 60.6 cases per 100,000 population. This is a decrease on the 88.1 cases per 100,000 population that was recorded a week ago.

Monmouthshire’s COVID-19 infection rate has slightly risen. Data shows an infection rate of 62.4 cases per 100,000 population. This is up on a week ago when the COVID-19 infection rate was at 61.3 cases per 100,000 population.

Powys COVID-19 infection rate is falling. Data shows an infection rate of 101.9 cases per 100,000 population. This is down on the 120.1 cases per 100,000 population that was recorded a week ago.
