The Herefordshire Scrap Store & Resource Centre will be offering another useful service from this coming Friday, when they will team up with the Herefordshire Free School Uniform team.
From Friday, preloved free school uniform items will be available at the Herefordshire Scrap Store & Resource Centre at Rotherwas in Hereford.
This service will help families that struggle to afford school uniform and will also save perfectly good items from ending up in landfill.
The scrap store now also accepts card payments, making the centre more accessible to community groups and other residents.
In a post on the Herefordshire Scrap Store and Resource Centre Facebook Group, Andrew Wood said:
“I’m sorry it’s taken so long to sort out but we can now take card payments at the Scrap Store as well as cash. Thank you for your patience.”
The Herefordshire Scrap Store & Resource Centre is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am-2pm and the first Saturday of the month from 9am-12pm.
