A Herefordshire Primary School has taken the decision to close after two further cases of COVID-19 were confirmed.
Yesterday (Thursday) we confirmed that the headteacher at Luston Primary School near Leominster had tested positive for COVID-19, but a decision was taken for the school to remain open due to the headteacher not having close contact with staff, pupils or parents.
The school has since (this morning) issued an update confirming that a further two members of the school community have tested positive for COVID-19. The school will be closed today and an update will be provided once discussions with Public Health England have taken place.
