Data shared by InYourArea and supplied by Public Health England has shown a 1.2% fall in the number of COVID-19 cases recorded in Herefordshire in the week ending 29th October, compared to the week before.

161 new cases of the virus were recorded in Herefordshire in total in the week ending 29th October.

In comparison, Monmouthshire has seen a 53.6% rise in cases, Malvern Hills a 3.8% rise in cases and the City of Worcester has seen a 3.2% reduction in new cases.

In recent days, the pattern of a reduction in new cases has continued in Herefordshire, with 9 new cases reported yesterday, compared to the 25 that were recorded the previous Monday.
