Herefordshire now has one of the lowest COVID-19 infection rates in England. Data released today that shows infection rates up until and including the 5th December shows an overall COVID-19 infection rate in Herefordshire of 51.9 cases per 100,000 population. This is DOWN on the 56.5 cases per 100,000 population recorded yesterday.
Many parts of the county have recorded fewer than three new cases in the seven days ending 5th December and even South Leominster, an area that was seeing high rates of infection, has seen a fall in the infection rate.
