Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews will be joining crews from surrounding areas in a major training exercise in the Cotswolds this week.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service shared the following message on social media earlier today.
“If you see a lot of fire engines surrounding Cotswold Airport in Kemble this week, please be assured, there’s no need to panic.
“A large training exercise is planned involving Avon, Gloucestershire, Hereford & Worcester, Devon & Somerset, Wales, and more over the next week.
“The training exercise will help us all to improve our skills, challenge one another & importantly make sure we are well equipped to keep local people safe and perform rescues in the event of an emergency.
“Please share far and wide to inform others in the community.”
