Herefordshire Council’s Highways team have provided an update on the Blueschool Steeet road closure, with significant delays reported in Hereford this afternoon.
A section of Blueschool Street has been closed since Thursday 13th March, with motorists diverted alongside Maylord Orchards.
However, there is now a FULL road closure in place, meaning that there is currently no access to Maylord Shopping Centre’s car park.
There are significant delays on surrounding routes, such as Commercial Road and Ledbury Road.
A spokesperson for Herefordshire Highways said:
“We are continuing to work on Blueschool Street this morning under the supervision of the council’s highways team, with planing out of the carriageway underway.
“Further work to remove vegetation from the historic city wall is also being completed, following initial work yesterday.”
