Case rates continue to be high in the county, particularly among young people, and with winter fast approaching, it is vital that everyone continues to follow the key safety advice to ensure they protect both themselves and others.
Cllr David Hitchiner, Leader of Herefordshire Council, said:
“I would urge everyone to think about what they can do to stay safe, especially as we head into winter. If you’re out shopping, socialising or coming into contact with people you don’t normally meet, please consider wearing a face mask and keep your distance. Please also continue to practice good handwashing techniques using soap and water, and have good ventilation inside your homes and work places. I would also encourage people to continue to regularly test even if you don’t have symptoms and take up the offer of a COVID vaccine if you haven’t already done so. Coronavirus is not going away, and with flu and other seasonal illnesses already prevalent, it is more important than ever that people continue to follow the advice to help protect themselves and others.”
