Herefordshire Council has granted permission to a circus company, to host a circus for local disadvantaged children.
Circus Starr submitted an application to Herefordshire Council to request for a charity event run by a Community Interest Company for the purposes of a non-animal circus from 22 to 24 June 2022 (the actual event is run on 23 June, the other days are for setting up and clearing away).
The circus will be attended without charge by locally disadvantaged children and profits will be donated to charity.
This is an annual event.
Herefordshire Council approved the application by Granting a 3 day occupational licence to Circus Starr to occupy land at Bishops’ Meadow King George V Playing Field for a charity event.
