Herefordshire Council has awarded a contract worth almost £50,000 for the branding and marketing planning services for the new library at Maylord Orchards and the redeveloped museum on Broad Street in Hereford to a company in Exeter, Devon.
Documents from Herefordshire Council said:
“One Voice Media & PR Ltd to deliver the branding and marketing planning services for the new Maylord Orchards Library and Learning Resource Centre and redeveloped Hereford Museum and Art Gallery.
“To support these transformational projects the identity and brand of both services needs to be refreshed. This refresh will bring new, modern branding and marketing to the services that reflects the bold and exciting vision for both services.
“Although the Library and Museum developments are linked each will require their own individual branding and marketing reflecting their uniqueness and target audiences.
“The branding and marketing also support the Council’s wider ambitions for Hereford city, regionally and nationally, and support the delivery of our wider cultural strategy and objectives for tourism.”
According to Companies House, One Vision Media & PR Limited is based in Exeter, Devon.

The total contract is worth £49,900 according to Herefordshire Council.
Herefordshire Council added:
“The contractor is best placed to deliver the service within budget and on time. They have the necessary experience and skills to develop each elements of the branding and marketing plan for both the Library and Museum.
“The capital redevelopment of both services require supporting marketing and branding to be successful.
“This specialist work will support the council’s wider strategic plans for the county and position both services to reach target audiences and refresh the way both are viewed and presented.”
