Herefordshire Council has approved a £161,700 spend for roofing work to take place at a primary school in Ross-on-Wye.
Herefordshire Council have taken the decision to award Central Roofing & Building Services Ltd the contract for the roofing works at Ashfield Park Primary School, Ross-on-Wye, following a successful tender via Herefordshire Council’s procurement portal.
Cabinet decided to approve the expenditure of up to £161,700 for works, which includes a contingency of up to £21,700 and also to approve the expenditure of up to £5,000 for surveys. The council has also approved the expenditure of up to £18,850 for professional fees.
The roofing works at Ashfield Park Primary School, Ross-on-Wye are
planned works included in the 2021-2023 Schools Capital Maintenance
Programme. The work has been approved to ensure all Council buildings are fit for purpose and maintained to the standards set out in the condition survey to address suitability, sustainability and affordability.
