Herefordshire Council has decided to spend up to £180,350 on a new roof at a primary school in Herefordshire.
The council approved plans on 20th October to award a contract to Central Roofing to carry out the re-roofing works required at Madley Primary School as part of the 2021/22 programme, up to the value of £164,000, which includes a contingency of £15,000.
Council documents say that the decision was made to “complete the works required at Madley Primary School to make the building fit for purpose and to address the school’s Capital Maintenance request.”
