Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have provided an update on a fire that occurred on a farm in Herefordshire this afternoon.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (Hereford Fire Station) told Your Herefordshire:
“We mobilised to a combine harvester, well alight in Cross Ways. Supporting crews from Fownhope and Ross.
“On arrival crews located one combine harvester and approximately 1 hectare of straw stubble affected by fire.
“Crews used foam jets, hose reel and beaters to extinguish the blaze.”
