Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have provided an update following a collision involving two vehicles on the A49 in Herefordshire.

The collision occurred on the A49 between Harewood End and Much Birch. 

West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were all called to the incident.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:

“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford Fire Station were called at 18:30 on 14 February to an RTC in Llandinabo at the junction of the A49 and the B4348. 

“The incident involved two cars which were both on all four wheels with no persons trapped. 

“The two drivers were handed over to the care of the ambulance service, who attended along with police.

“The road was closed in both directions with the incident marked as pending closure at 19:20.”
