Fire crews were called to reports of a fire at Hereford County Hospital this morning.

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are at the scene.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:

“Three Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford Fire Station were called at 09:16 on 27 October to a building fire in Stonebow Road, Hereford. 

“A smell of burning was located in a water boiler in a ground floor kitchen area and this was isolated by an on-site maintenance team before the incident was handed over to the estates team. 

“The incident was marked as pending closure at 09:48.”
