Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have been called to Hereford Railway Station this afternoon.

One fire crew from Fownhope Fire Station is outside the front of the main entrance to the railway station. 

The incident involves a lift at the station. 

The railway station remains open to passengers.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:

“A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Fownhope Fire Station was called at 12:47 on 20 February to a rescue from a lift in Station Approach, Hereford. 

“The crew is currently at the scene.”
