Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to a fire at a property in the county on Wednesday.

Crews from Hereford, Kington, Kingsland and Leominster all attended the incident.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said:

“Another chimney fire yesterday and another call for assistance from 466 (Aerial appliance) from Hereford Fire Station  skillfully positioned with cables to negotiate and working at its maximum reach, once again proving itself invaluable!

“Great work from crews early on dealing with a heavily smoke logged property, quickly stopping further damage and quickly checking for possible fire spread.

“Thanks for support from Kingsland fire station and Leominster Fire Station.”
