We’ve contacted Hereford Medical Group after a number of patients reported receiving parking fines at the new Station Medical Centre in Hereford.
A spokesperson for Hereford Medical Centre said:
“Parking charge notices have been issued in error due to a system fault.
“Patients have been giving us their car registrations, our reception team have uploaded the information to the system but unfortunately a system error has led to parking charge notices being issued.
“All parking charge notices have been cancelled and we have had an engineer on site ensuring the system is working correctly going forward.
“ParkingEye will be writing to those who have received a parking charge notice in error to confirm that they have been cancelled.
“If anyone has already paid the charge, they will be refunded.
“It is important we have a system in place to monitor usage of the car park to ensure it is not used inappropriately, these initial teething issues have now been resolved and we would like to apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.
“If you have any concerns about the parking charge notice please contact us via the feedback form on our website.”
