A man from Hereford has been sentenced to 5 years and 3 months imprisonment and will be placed on the sex offenders register for life after pleading guilty to various charges in relation to child sex offences when he appeared at Worcester Crown Court.

Jamie Turley pleaded guilty to the following charges at the hearing on 15th December:

  1. Causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, contrary to section 10 (1) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003
  2. Sexual Activity with a Child, contrary to section 9 (1) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003
  3. Sexual Activity with a Child, contrary to section 9 (1) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003
  4. Sexual Activity with a Child, contrary to section 9 (1) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003
  5. Abducting a Child, contrary to section 2 (1)(a) of the Child Abduction Act 1984.
  6. Sexual Activity with a Child, contrary to section 9 (1) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003

In total, Jamie Turley was sentenced to:

  • Total of 5 years 3 months imprisonment
  • Sexual Harm Prevention Order
  • Sex Offenders Register for Life
