Hannah Kirby and Matt Morgan from Hereford will be taking part in next month’s London Marathon.
Hannah told us.
“Amazingly We have managed to bag a last-minute place in this year’s London marathon! Neither of us have ever ran this far before and have just had six weeks to train!
The event takes place in the capital on Sunday 2nd October 2022.
Hannah added “We have chosen RNIB as the charity in honour of my Grandma Tessa who due to a condition called âgiant cell arteritisâ she suddenly went completely blind over night last year. This and many other similar charities provide equipment, help and support for those who are in need due to sight loss”
The pair have set themselves a target of ÂŁ4,000 “We have hosted various fund raising activities to help increase the total amount raised, and we are grateful to everyone who has donated and supported us”
