Help make memories for a Hereford boy with a terminal brain tumour.
“Where to start? Without this sounding too cliche, our Logan bear, really does brighten up any room with his infectious smiles and giggles.
“Words can not describe how painful it is to write down something that is too unbearable to say out loud. It wasn’t long ago that Logan was living the life of a normal 10-year-old boy; swimming, lego, dinosaurs and family adventures. Our world has been flipped upside down overnight. What was thought to be a simple hip problem has turned out to be an actual living nightmare.
“Our Logan has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour, and we’ve been told that we have just a year left to enjoy his funny, cheeky, sometimes crazy little life. As you can imagine, this is an unbearable time for our whole family as we try to come to terms with his diagnosis and also support Logan and his amazing parents, Lauren and Matt, while they try to keep a brave face for Logan, who is currently blissfully unaware of what little time we have left with him.
“During such times of financial crisis, we are turning to gofundme for help to not only create the best memories for Logan but to help reduce the burden of all the added costs that come with not being able to work, travel expenses and just trying to remain as close to Logan as possible.
“With Christmas just around the corner and the possibility that this may be Logan’s last, we would just like to try and make his dreams come true and give him the most incredible Christmas if we can.
“We would like to thank everyone who visits our page and also to those who donate, we realise this is a difficult time for everyone but we really need help right now so from our family to yours, Thank you.
“Some of you may know Lauren and Matt; We ask that at such a difficult time, please respect their privacy. If you would like to reach out to show a sign of support, please either leave a comment or a simple Dinosaur or Bear Emoji; thank you.”
